Building Community One "Hello" at a Time
WE CAN (Welcoming Everyone - Community Alliance of Norton, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Norton, MA, dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility by promoting community awareness and action.
WE CAN was founded by Norton residents who wanted to embrace new perspectives and diverse cultures, bring awareness and understanding to the community, and create a safe environment where ideas and experiences are shared, differences are celebrated, and where people feel a sense of belonging.
Our Story
Through conversations and interactions with our neighbors we found the community needed "something" to bring people together to learn more about diversity and equity, respecting differences, and providing residents with events and awareness to enrich their lives.
From thoughtful discussions spanning local politics, to the schools, and social media, we found areas where we - as a community - had the power to influence positive change and further support our mission.
